This site runs on WordPress 3.0. It started as a blank theme, Starkers by Elliot Jay Stocks. I made it my own, designed completely in-browser, using either Chrome or Firefox. It makes use of two fonts available via Typekit, Bree Serif and Open Sans and makes use of some CSS3 goodies (rounded corners, RGBa). It was designed with a 960px grid in mind. I’ve used a custom post type & custom taxonomies to harness its power as a CMS for my work portfolio.
It’s best viewed using something other than Internet Explorer, but if I can trust Google Analytics, most of you reading this are using something other than IE (yay!). If you notice anything wonky, please let me know.

I have to mention some of the great resources I used as inspiration, teaching tools and general design resources as I worked on this site. The community of web designers is one of my favorite things about this industry.
